Birth is an amazing miraculous and sometimes out of control experience. Even those who do this day in and day out find times when things don’t go as planned.

As an RN in a NICU I see those experiences and the usually happy ending to the many surprises and deviations to the plan. Always remember that a healthy baby is the main goal never forget that when you are presented with choices you did not want.
